What did you MOST enjoy in this module?
Precast technology is very relevant in today’s construction industry and I enjoy learning the mod when the prof gives photographic examples of the precast components and explaining to us the various functions of it.
What did you find most challenging in this module?
Lectures can be quite dry at times so it is challenging trying to keep yourself awake.
Any project work involved? If yes, please briefly describe what it involved.
Yes. It involves using precast components for the construction of a 8storey buildings. This includes the selection of components, calculations of loading and also the compatibility of the connection joints
